About Sixtine Gontier
Sixtine is a mom of 4 teens and a teen coach. In 2011 she moved from France to San Jose CA with her husband and her 4 children, then 14, 12, 10 and 8 years old. After graduating in law from University Paris X, France, Sixtine worked several years for French associations for disabled children, including hosting youth from Laos, Madagascar, Syria, Algeria and Moldova, in need of heart operation with Mecenat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
Arriving to California, while looking for ways to help her children navigate the challenge of moving to a foreign country at a teen and pre-teen age, Sixtine discovered life coaching, a life changing experience. Her eldest son, then 16, encouraged her to become a professional coach: “You will be an amazing coach like you are an amazing mum!” Sixtine decided to train at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and was certified in 2014. Having a natural connection with youth and young adults and wanting to help them get “tools and wings”, Sixtine took the Academic Life Coaching Training and was certified in 2016.
Sixtine’s mission is to help teenagers and young adults prepare for their future using essential life tools: Resilience, Motivation, Adaptability, Coping, Emotional Intelligence, Mission, Passion, and Vision.

What is great about The Bay Area?
I love the Bay Area because of the diversity of the population. There are more than 98 nationalities in my school district! I am also a big fan of nature especially hiking, and I have many possibilities from walking distance.
