Today I want to talk about neurofeedback and biofeedback. Today’s question is:
How can I gather more information about what I care about?
I love neurofeedback because it has given me so much information about how my internal thoughts and emotional state impact my biology. Tools and apps like those from Heartmath have made a huge difference in my own self-awareness.
Their Inner Balance Sensor app shows me how my thoughts are influencing the coherence of my pulse, and it has given me a lot of insight into what helps me feel happy and calm.
I have also used biofeedback with the students that I work with, and their reactions have been positive. When we know more about our own internal state, we are able to make better decisions that positively impact us. So today, ask yourself:
How can I gather more information about what I really care about?
