I wanted to share with everyone some exciting news about the future of education and Academic Life Coaching!
Next week, I will be traveling to New York City for the opening of the first SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Environment) lab in the United States. Sugata Mitra won the TED prize a few years ago and has expanded his research around SOLEs and their effects on learning.
The lab will open Wednesday, October 14th, and I am honored to get to be a part of it. The School in the Cloud, Granny in the Cloud, and SOLE’s are going to be a huge part of education in the future. This movement in education is something that I am so passionate about and I hope that Academic Life Coaching can be a part of the amazing work that Sugata Mitra and his team are doing.
While I am in New York City, I will also be planning an ALC meet-up with any coaches who would like to connect! I look forward to seeing people there!
Keep checking in for more updates about upcoming events and information about the new SOLE lab that is opening up in New York City.
