Everyone wrestles with the I-don’t-feel-like-it sour mood. The problem is when such a mood makes establishing positive habits challenging.
Once established, however, habits trump moods. If a high school student is simply in the habit of getting all her homework finished right after school – and she’s done this every day for the past semester – she’s going to do it no matter what her mood is.
The beauty of the situation lies when she realizes that her habit is actually a solace.
