Yes, but only for the right reasons. Lately, more of our high school life coaching clients have asked or have sought out online schooling as an alternative to traditional high school.
Most of the time, it seems to make sense for high school students to make the leap to online.
The best reason:
“I can devote more time to developing a skill or passion that I really, really love has been hampered by traditional schooling.”
Second best reason:
“Because I learn better in an online environment.”
It’s obvious that online learning and more technology is going to be the way of the future in education and to me, the most exciting aspect is that students will have more time to develop life skills through pursuing a project and a passion.
Times change, PeeChee folders are no longer popular. Is the classroom as we know it also obsolete?
