The other day, I asked my two-year-old to get her jacket since we’re going out.
She waited and played and had fun.
Turns out it was getting hot and she didn’t need her jacket after all.
When I told her that she didn’t need her jacket the thought crossed my mind to ask her to get it anyway to teach her how to:
- Listen
- Work
But then I thought I was just over-thinking parenting and gave it a rest as we enjoyed the walk to the library to turn in some books that were a few days overdue.
