Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Coach Training EDU has trained over 300 Academic Life Coaches, in over 25 countries. They are on a mission to revolutionize education, wellness, and the way we work through comprehensive life coach training programs and a focus on the latest research in neuroscience and positive psychology. Start your training with the 1.0 Academic Life Coach Training Program, and learn foundational coaching concepts, specific skills and tools for working with students, and business-building tips to jumpstart your life coaching practice. If you are interested in additional training, add on the 2.0 Coach Training Program, and take your coaching skills to the next level.
Your training will prepare you to help college, secondary, and middle school students cultivate emotional intelligence and co-create action steps so that they can gain the skills necessary to lead effective, fulfilled adult lives. With your newfound set of skills, you will be prepared to launch your own life coaching business working with students or bring coaching concepts and tools to the students you are already working with. Over the years, Academic Life Coaches have come from a variety of backgrounds and used their training to enhance their work with students in classrooms, nonprofit organizations, career and tutoring centers, and current coaching practices.
Coach Training EDU offers two levels of certification, Associate Certified Academic Life Coach and Certified Academic Life Coach. Complete the 1.0 Academic Life Coach Training Program, and receive their first level of certification; complete both the 1.0 and 2.0 level training programs, and receive their second level of certification. All of Coach Training EDU’s programs are also International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited, so earning your credential with the ICF is simple.
Coach Training EDU offers a highly interactive and engaging life coach training experience. All of the concepts are covered in the training guide and pre-recorded audio material, so your weekly class meetings are dedicated to discussing concepts, answering questions, and practicing your coaching skills. This online format allows you to connect to class from anywhere around the world, and you will be training alongside coaches from a variety of cities, countries, and backgrounds.
